Through their Chaplaincy Initiative, they are providing educational and networking opportunities to those who minister in diverse communities and institutions. This program will explore diverse religious interpretations of nonviolence and how religious communities practice nonviolence in contemporary times. The ICJS is devoted to disarming religious prejudice and intolerance, and defending religious pluralism in their own communities. This allows people from all walks of life to have access to the dynamic Jewish communities outside of their own.
Local faith leaders are discussing the progress that has been made in creating more inclusive communities and the work that still needs to be done.
